Anonymous Activist Is Matching Donations to "Law Enforcement Against Prohibition"

LEAP Donations Matched for One More Week

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals! I hope this post finds you and yours a little too full from eggnog and some epic family meals. After all the presents have been opened and you sit back thinking there might be a little more holiday cheer to spread around, consider donating to Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP).

This group of law enforcement officers have formed an international nonprofit organization "who bear personal witness to the wasteful futility and harms of our current drug policies." Essentially, this group of guys and gals are the good cops. They fight the good fight every day, truly fulfilling the motto "to protect and to serve" without attempting to waste time and funding on trumped-up drug charges or the policies that empower that kind of behavior.

In fact, they are huge proponents of reform legislation initiatives like Issue 3The LEAP blog, "Cops Say Legalize", covers the issues that are important to them. Like any organization with such aspirations as to end drug prohibition, they need funding to spread that message through "presentations, media appearances, and online messaging."

From The Weed Blog:

"Just a quick note of thanks to all of you who have contributed to Law Enforcement Against Prohibition’s matching gift challenge so far. If you haven’t given yet, it’s not too late to see your gift doubled — with just one week to go, we are almost halfway to our goal of $20,000, and every dollar you give will be matched by a very generous anonymous donor."

That is correct. With the help of matching donations from a mysterious weed altruist, you can help LEAP reach their year end goal of 20 grand and know that your donation will support a cause we can all get behind. Besides, given their nonprofit status, your donation of cash, electronics, or even a car is tax deductible! All of these kinds of LEAP donations and more can be arranged HERE
