What Is Cannabis Oil?
Scientifically, cannabis oil is a thick, sticky substance made up of cannabinoids such as THC and CBD that are extracted from cannabis plants. This oil is obtained by separating the resins from cannabis flowers using a variety of solvent extraction methods, the most common being butane.
Let’s play a little word association for a minute. If we say “global warming,” what do you think? Now let’s try “marijuana legalization.” Maybe some of you thought about presidential debate topics. Maybe some of you instinctively thought the word “millennial” and proudly smiled to yourself. And maybe some of you just thought about how high you wish you were. Whatever you associated those phrases with, there is no denying that they are hot-button topics in today’s world.
We live in a day and age where people are starting to wake up to the fact that marijuana prohibition has failed — and it’s been an utter failure at that. Many people have begun to realize that the government has flat out lied to us and frankly, the people are pissed! I am not here to talk about why marijuana is illegal, I am here to shine light on the hypocrisy of testing for marijuana in the work place. I’m going to look at why so many people are fired or not hired for marijuana as well as the costs associated with alcohol abuse. So why do so many people get popped for marijuana use?
PARIS, France - One man is dead and five others have been hospitalized after taking part in a drug trial for a new painkiller based on a compound similar to marijuana.
In all, 90 individuals have taken part in the drug trial, taking some dosage of the drug, which is aimed at alleviating mood and anxiety issues, as well as movement coordination disorders linked to neurological issues.
